How to make it
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (205°C). A 2–3 minute preheat is optional but helps browning.
- Cook for 8–12 minutes. Flip halfway through cooking.
- Check doneness with a thermometer: it's ready at an internal temperature of 135°F.
Tip: 8–10 min for medium-rare, 10–12 for medium. Rest 5 minutes before cutting.
Times assume a standard 1500–1800W basket air fryer. Compact or very full baskets can need 2–3 extra minutes; large oven-style units often finish a bit sooner.
