How to make it
- Set the air fryer to 360°F (180°C). A 2–3 minute preheat is optional but helps browning.
- Cook for 55–65 minutes. Flip halfway through cooking.
- Check doneness with a thermometer: it's ready at an internal temperature of 165°F.
Tip: Breast-side down for the first 30 minutes, then flip. Check the thigh, not the breast.
Times assume a standard 1500–1800W basket air fryer. Compact or very full baskets can need 2–3 extra minutes; large oven-style units often finish a bit sooner.
